Bite Your Tongue, my favorite Charlotte restaurant for New Orleans-style Cajun food, is expanding. Previously located in a tiny corner of an office building on Randolph Road, the restaurant now has a new home in South End. The new restaurant will feature a dine-in option and longer hours. (Location details and grand opening are TBA.)

Owners Lucius and Martine ask you to please text “BYT” to 72727 to be notified of their grand opening date when it is announced.

As part of the “Share Our Strength- Dine Out for No Kid Hungry” campaign, P.F. Chang’s will be donating 50 cents of every order of Lettuce Wraps to the charity (through Sept. 24, 2011).

On a side note, I just recently rekindled my love for P.F. Chang’s this past weekend. While it felt oddly strange and wrong for me (an Asian) to be eating at a faux Asian restaurant, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience there. Don’t judge me. The food is good.

In celebration of their 1-year anniversary, Zink. American Kitchen will be offering special anniversary deals for Facebook fans. If they reach 750 fans on their Facebook page by Sept. 30, they will hold a special celebration party on Oct. 5,  6 pm – 9 pm. The party will feature food deals, drink specials, and live music. There will also be free tastings of their flatbreads from 6 pm to 7 pm.

As of now (5 pm on Sept. 22), they have 397 fans. Hurry up and fan them so we can have a party!
